teacher
1st
grade students got visitors from the Oulu University. Four teacher students
came to keep them an exciting day teach the 1st graders Indian
skills. At first students learned how to make smoke signals with the big shade.
Then it was time to learn for example crawling, sneaking, climbing, balancing
and throwing on an obstacle course. All of the students learned these important
skills they need to become a real Indian.
After the
obstacle course the lessons continued and students heard Indian music, saw a
lot of pictures of different kind of Indians and got a lot of knowledge on how
Indians used to live, what kind of habitations they had and finally they made
themselves their own Indian headpiece. All the students got a diploma for
taking part to this Indian day. The
students really enjoyed the day and learned a lot about Indians and their way
of living!
